Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

Well, the chicken dinner part may be an exaggeration, but several ASHRAE Puget Sound Chapter members have recently been declared winners of either Starbucks gift cards or bottles of fine wine.In December we held a raffle for anyone who renewed their Puget Sound Chapter membership prior to the end of the year. The following members were selected at random as winners:

Ms. Lauren May – Starbucks Gift Card,
Ms. Zoe Roberts – Starbucks Gift Card
Ms. Akemi Shimokawara – Bottle of Wine

At every chapter meeting the membership promotion committee has a raffle to encourage participation in our chapter. Each non-member guest, each member who brings a guest, and each member who has joined the chapter or has upgraded their membership status within the last month are allowed to participate by dropping their business cards into a bowl. The following member was randomly selected to win the raffle:

Larry Bacher, a guest, and Seattle Area Manager for Clima-Tech Corporation was the lucky winner of a $25.00 Starbucks gift card at the January meeting.

You can increase your chances of winning by bringing those guests to our monthly chapter meetings. If you are an associate member, you can also increase your chance of winning by upgrading your membership status to full member. All you need is 12 points. You receive one point for each year of HVAC work experience and 1.5 points for each year of accredited college experience. There are points for a PE license as well.
