Puget Sound Engineering Council is hosting a mentor night at Seattle University.
When: November 29th, 2017 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Where: Seattle University, 901 12th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122
The events are intended for students to speak with engineering professionals in person, and no ongoing mentoring relationship is expected. Food and refreshments will be provided. To facilitate the discussions, mentors are asked to bring a sample of work (reports, photos, drawings, etc.) to help the students better understand what they might do in different disciplines of engineering. The event will be kicked off with a brief introduction of the engineering disciplines of the volunteers followed by a 30 minute panel discussion in which panel members will briefly their engineering field and typical work experiences and answer general questions from the students. At the conclusion of the general discussion, there will be an open forum where the students rotate between various tables and converse with the mentors.
