Recap: September Chapter Meeting

For those of you who were unable to make this month’s chapter meeting, we had an excellent time with over 60 guests in attendance at the Motif hotel ballroom in downtown Seattle. Students, ASHRAE members, and even non-members were welcomed to join us in our discussion on the current and future trends of refrigerant applications as it pertains to process efficiency, global warming potential (GWP), and ozone depletion potential (ODP).

We would like to extend Mike Patterson thanks for leading the discussion, and preparing slides for everyone’s review. The lecture slides can be viewed below this post.

ASHRAE’s Puget Sound chapter also conducted the induction ceremony for the new officers who will administer and provide logistical support for chapter operations for the 2017-2018 year. The officers were sworn into duty at the beginning of the meeting, thus acknowledging their new responsibilities. With new leadership comes new opportunities, it will be exciting to see what opportunities the new administration can bring.
