We had nearly 50 guests at this past Thursday’s Membership Promotions and Building Commissioning Association (BCA) Event.

The open forum provided for a lively conversation of the 2015 Energy Code requirements as it relates to commissioning. The evening was moderated by Duane Lewellen of the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council (NEEC) and the Smart Building Center. Our Panelists were:

Please note the following clarification from Duane Jonlin:

I stated that a PE could act as the Certified Commissioning Professional only if he/she was the engineer of record for the project. Turns out I was remembering an earlier proposal – the final adopted language allows any Washington state PE to serve as the Certified Commissioning Professional. My apologies.
