In collaboration with the Washington (Northwest) Chapter of IAPMO and McKinstry
This workshop has four basic plumbing systems, vertical wet vent, horizontal wet vent, combination waste-n-vent, and circuit vent. This full day course has four hours of instructional code requirements and another four hours of hands-on assembly of the four basic plumbing systems: vertical wet vent, horizontal wet vent, combination waste-n-vent and circuit vent using 3-D models.
Learning Objectives:
- Define plumbing code and practical application in accordance with the UPC.
- Assemble plumbing systems using drainage pattern fittings with 3D printed fittings.
- Design professionals learn four basic plumbing systems, vertical wet vent, horizontal wet vent, combination waste-n-vent, circuit vent

ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO 40 PEOPLE.

Please bring your copy of the 2015 UPC with WA Amendments. A limited number of copies will be available for reference.
Presenter Bio: Steven Hart
Steven Hart, Certified Building Official, is the senior plumbing plans examiner with Public Health-Seattle & King County (PHSKC). A licensed journeyman plumber, he is also an instructor, specializing in plumbing codes. Steve currently serves as Chair of the Northwest Washington Chapter of International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), and previously served as Education Chair for the Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO), and received WABO’s Outstanding Education Achievement award for 2018. Steven holds a degree in business management and multiple current certifications from the International Code Council (ICC).
