ASHRAE and The Future

For our final Chapter Meeting of the year, we will take a look at how ASHRAE shapes the future at different levels as an organization. One of ASHRAE’s marketing taglines is Shaping Tomorrow’s Global Built Environment Today, and we will be learning from a series of mini-presentations on how we can be involved in doing exactly that. This Chapter Meeting will have a spotlight on our local Student Activities, and will prominently feature some of our active members at our Student Branches at UW Seattle and UW Bothell. What interests the next generation, and how can we invest in their individual and our collective industry’s future success? Let us convene as a full chapter body and discuss!

• A Senior Capstone Design Team and their Industry Sponsor, Delta E
• The UW Seattle Team competing in ASHRAE’s national BEQ Competition

A Chicken Alfredo buffet will be provided, with a seasonal vegetarian option. Let us know if you have any additional dietary restrictions.
