Low Level Chemical Exposure and IAQ in Schools

The Indoor Air Quality Association’s (IAQA) Seattle Chapter is hosting a meeting on March 29th at the Swedish Cultural Center.

Speakers Elizabeth Jakab (an Industrial Hygeine Consultant with Puget Sound Workers Compensation Trust), and Nancy P. Bernard (Program Manager at the Washington State Department of Health) will be presenting a discussion titled “Low Level Chemical Exposure and IAQ in Schools”. The presentation will identify typical sources of unnecessary and harmful chemical exposures in schools, and methods of managing such hazmats. Tips for inspectors and consultants working with the very special school environments will also be provided.
