Honeywell: Consulting Engineer / End User Specialist

We are searching for a motivated Consulting Engineer/ End User Specialist to support our Washington, Oregon, California Territory.

You are a critical member of the Honeywell team for sales, engineering, and project management. As the expert of building automation products and a key resource, you will help to craft building specifications, train/educate customers, and close project opportunities. You will provide Building Automation specification support and training, teaming with the local Honeywell sales representative.

You will achieve annual sales plan for the territory leveraging all resources to improve sales growth.
You will execute marketing and sales programs for territory growth.
You will define and track opportunity pipeline.
You will build new business, maintain current business and lead growth built by End User conversions and getting products specified by Consulting Engineers and Architects.
Train End Users, Consulting Engineers, Contractors and Distributors on Field Device products, product value, systems integration and logistics-related programs.
We look for those that can craft market awareness of Energy Efficiency and Optimization opportunities.
Oversee other team members to improve sales coverage of the commercial markets.
The position can sit anywhere in Washington or Oregon. Territory responsibility will cover WA. OR. & CA. Travel is up to 75% within the territory, including overnights.

You must have

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of industry experience (Building Automation , Field Device, Security, HVAC, or IP background-structured cabling and networking).

Experience in multi-level sales; from engineering / facility mgmt levels to executive C-suite levels.
High level relationship selling skills and technical aptitude.
Experience in consultative sales, with the ability to develop technical and strategic value propositions.
Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful client relationships and territory plans.
Influencing and negotiation skills.
Experience working with National Consulting Engineering firms to create preference for product offering.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix- team environment.
A diplomatic approach to conflict resolution.
Commercial HVAC experience
Microsoft Experience, excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements. Exempt
