Recap of the 2025-2026 year:
As things started to warm up this Spring, curling class at the Kraken Community Iceplex let everyone experience the chilling effect of refrigeration in action first hand. After a happy hour partnered with YEA, attendees headed over to the Iceplex and got on the ice. The staff walked them through the steps of curling before letting them compete to see who might have what it takes to be an Olympian. (See our recent recap post for more info)

A training session to teach ASHRAE students and engineers about refrigeration systems design and the components that make up the system is also in the works.

The Refrigeration Committee is just heating up with tours of grocery and industrial storage facilities, discussions on HFCs and their regulation, as well other exciting events planned for next year!
