The Lean Construction Institute chapter advisory board has organized a monthly series of discussions on “Beyond BIM” focusing on computational design and design for manufacturing. The first of the four part series is on September 19th at the Swedish Club focusing on the subject matter of lean design. Registration is $25 per person, and is open to non-LCI members.
“Building modeling is old news. Today’s leading design firms are harnessing cloud computing for rapid design iteration and optimization. Some design firms are embedding manufacturing data in building model objects to eliminate the need for shop drawings and to “lean” the project supply chain.
Join us September 19 to hear our expert panel discuss computational design, generative design, design for manufacturing and more.”
