Energy Engineer
The Washington State University (WSU) Energy Program has one or more openings for entry-level or intermediate-level engineering/technical staff to assist with commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects and programs.
The duties of this position(s) are expected to include performing fieldwork and technical assistance on various aspects of energy efficiency in commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. Work may include one-on-one technical consultations, on-site data collection to support assessments of facilities and their key energy systems, engineering analysis and energy performance assessment of whole facility and key energy system for possible implementation of combined heat and power or bioenergy system implementation as well as energy efficiency measures, publication development and conducting training for a professional audience. Work in this area is typically a mix of independent client support and team-based project execution.
