ASHRAE Student Activities – Classroom Visit to Middle College High School

The ASHRAE Puget Sound Student Activities Committee recently took a classroom visit to Middle College HS on the Seattle Central College campus.

Volunteers from our committee led students through a lesson plan educating freshman and sophomore students on the responsibilities of mechanical engineers in the construction industry.

Students had the chance to practice communication and teamwork through a Lego building activity, recommended by ASHRAE K-12 Activities, while learning the roles of an owner, architect, engineer, and contractor.
