Rich Doremus, President

Rich Doremus began his HVAC career as a sales engineer with Trane before becoming a sales engineer with ACCO Engineered Systems where he manages over three dozen service contracts as well as special projects for a variety of clients. He has been active in Puget Sound ASHRAE since 2014 and has served as an elected member on the Board of Governors for the Puget Sound Chapter since 2017.


Ty Wasserman, President-Elect

Ty Wasserman is a Mechanical Engineer from Ohio State University with 6 years of experience in the HVAC industry with Trane. He started volunteering with ASHRAE in 2016 as a member of the Receptions Committee and joined the Board of Governors shortly after. Ty is originally from Ohio and is a Buckeyes fan, as well as golfer, hiker, and whiskey enthusiast.


Amin Nadimzadeh, VP/Secretary

Amin Nadimzadeh is Account Executive with 5 years of HVAC experience in Commercial, higher education, and government vertical markets. Amin has obtained his Bachelor’s degree from University of California Irvine majoring in Aerospace Engineering and started his journey in HVAC/Building Automation industry as a Technical Sales Engineer for Onicon and Air Monitor products. He joined the Board of Governors in 2020, and is now serving as the Treasurer.


Tyler Toutonghi, Treasurer

Tyler Toutonghi is a Mechanical Engineer from Seattle, WA. He graduated from Seattle University in 2015 with dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics, and has been working as an HVAC Design Engineer for the past 6 years. He started volunteering with ASHRAE in 2018 as the Chair of the Publicity Committee, and now serves on the Board of Governors. Tyler is originally from the small town of Sultan, WA and still enjoys driving out to Snohomish County for hiking.


Tanvi Dhar, Receptions

Tanvi Dhar is a Building Performance Analyst at McKinstry, Seattle. She has a Masters in Building Science from the University of Oregon where she was a Graduate Teaching Fellow and a Graduate Research Assistant at the High Performance Environments Lab. She has positively impacted PNW projects in terms of energy efficiency, daylighting, thermal comfort and improved air quality. She joined Puget Sound ASHRAE as a member in 2016, started volunteering as the YEA chair in 2017 and joined the Board of Governors in 2020. Outside of work she likes to swim, hike, take care of her house plants and plan YEA events to provide interactive networking opportunities for the Puget Sound members.

Sean Riley, Past-President

Sean Riley is a Professional Engineer with 16 years of HVAC experience in healthcare, higher education, and critical facilities. He started volunteering with Puget Sound ASHRAE in 2014, joined the Board of Governors in 2015, and is now serving as the Chapter President. Sean has two young children, is an avid Seahawks fan, and enjoys playing volleyball.
