Luca Capobianchi is a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager at Design West Engineering. A registered P.E. in Washington State with 8 years’ experience in the HVAC&R industry, his experience encompasses a diverse range of building types, including commercial, institutional, high-rise residential, mixed-use, multi-family residential, and industrial projects. He has contributed to the design of U.S. government embassies, demonstrating his capability in both large-scale and high-security environments.
Luca’s primary focus has been on the design of dry-side HVAC systems, particularly in multi-family and mixed-use developments, and has been building valuable expertise in plumbing design. His commitment to a sustainable future, highlighted by his LEED accreditation, and his extensive project portfolio make him a versatile and highly skilled professional. He has been an active member of ASHRAE since 2016 and a member of ASME since 2015. Luca is dedicated to the profession and is eager to contribute to both ASHRAE and the HVAC&R industry.
The Reception Committee greets members and visitors, introduces guests to others, provides name badges, collects visitor information, and ensures the Membership Promotion Committee receives guest details for follow-up. They also track meeting attendance and introduce guests during the meeting.
