WHAT CAN ANTICIPATING FAIRGOERS EXPECT?
A celebration of creativity and innovation as you immerse yourself in a festive atmosphere of human ingenuity.
Explore a wide range of creative projects that showcase at the intersection of science, history, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
Interactive activities, hands-on demonstrations, experiments, and workshops designed for all ages.
Network with fellow science enthusiasts, artists, innovators, and members of your greater community.
The Georgetown Steam Plant is itself the great exhibit. It represents the transformative power that creative and adaptive reuse can have on breathing new life into retired industrial buildings. As the first Science Fair evolves into an annual event, our goal is to document and showcase the progress being made towards its transition into a SHTEAM educational HUB, historic community heritage center, and a unique event venue for future generations to explore and enjoy.
